One of the most challenging problems our planet faces, and we know that a sustained global effort is needed if we’re going to have any hope of reversing its effects. A huge push from Google is to reach neutrality by the end of 2012. Google approached Avenue A | Razorfish to develop a Carbon Footprint of the UK and incorporate Google Maps to create a true visual representation of the state of the UK from individuals to organisation’s and councils. The Carbon Footprint map would become a central source for data visualisation of the UK’s Carbon Footprint and would offer ways of how to reduce your footprint. From a Gadget through to a microsite all working together using the latest technology and mashups
on Google maps.
